What Is Cloud Computing-

The Cloud Computing Is Just Other Name “Internet”.This Name Is Basically derived From The Traditional Symbol Of a Cloud In Flowcharts And Diagram To Depict The Internet .Hence The Term Cloud Computing translate to “Internet Computing “.thus We Can Say Cloud Computing Means To Store And Access Data any where you want to use instead Of Using Local Hard drive.

How Cloud Computing Works

The Cloud Consists Of Two Sides Or Sections:a Back And A Front End Interconnection Through The Internet. The Front End is the Interface used by The user to Interact With the Cloud Using his/Her Computer or a network of computers and the software which is required to Access The Cloud e.g., E-mail System Like Hotmail , Gmail , etc .

The Front Ends For The Mailing Service use The Internet explorer or any web browser as a software interface to connect with the User. The back End Of the Cloud is where the Resources Of The cloud Are Located . These include The Database storage , Network Of Computers or Server And the application/software Servers ETC.

Types Of Clouds

There The 4 Types Of Clouds These Are. (1)- Public Cloud (2)-Private Cloud (3)-Hybrid Cloud (4)-Community Cloud.

Public Clouds

In This Model Of Cloud Resources Are Shared Publically , i.e They Are available For Used By Everyone Any One Can Connect His Computer Or Network to the Cloud he Can Share or Access Any Data of The Cloud.

the Resources Of the Cloud Are In Control Of The Owner Of The Cloud Anyone Can Connect With The cloud Free Of Cost Of Sometimes You have To pay To connect. A Large Number of Resources Can Be Shared At one Time.

Private Cloud

In This Model Of Clouds The Infrastructure And operation are Meant Of A Company Exclusively. It Can Be Managed And hosted internally Or Externally By Third-party.

therefore These Are Most Commonly Used In Company Which have high Security or privacy Requirments Which Are Critical For Company. These Are Less Cost-Effective As Compared To Public Clouds since The Owner is responsible for the Set-up, Configuration And Maintenance Of All Hardware and Software infrastructure requirement.

Hybrid Clouds

This Model Of Cloud Is A Combination of both Public And Private Cloud Wherein Some of The resources Are Shared And managed internally Within The Organization’s own private Cloud and some are shared and managed by public clouds.

this model provides the most efficient enviorment possible for the organization where the critical ones can be handled using the benefits of the more cost-effective public clouds.

Community Cloud

In this Model, Cloud Computing Solution is Provided To many Organization Within A group that Have Common Interest/Concern Like Security, etc.

It Is Governed , Managed And Hosted Either internally by All the Participating Group Members or externally by Third Party Called MSP (managed Service Provider ). The member Organization Of This Type Of Cloud Can Avail the Advantages Of The Public Clouds Such Is Greater Flexibility But With a Higher level of Security And Privacy.

Advantages Of Cloud Computing

First And The Foremost, the Biggest Advantage Of Cloud Computing is That the user’s Application And data Are Available Anytime And Anywhere As Long As he has a computer with Internet Connectivity . It is Not Confined To the User’s Own Computer From Any Location For him To Access His Files Or Softwares , So it is Easy.

Even if the user’s Individual machine Or Network Crashes Or Develops A glitch For Some Reasons, the User Does Not Lose His Data or Applications And Recovery/Re-setup Time is Reduce To Minimum…

It Provides The greater Flexibility To The User Since they Decide How much or How little the cloud’s Resources they Want To Use, And Which Ones. they then Pay For The Same Accordingly. This Also Reduce Wastage Of Resources Not Being Used.
