As we all know that Oppo has become a leading brand in India and growing itself more after its new version Oppo F5 which has become one of the most sold Smartphone in India but now Oppo has created a new version of F5 which is Oppo F5 Youth Officially in Philippines which can be seen as a Downgraded Oppo F5.

All About Oppo F5 Youth

Oppo F5 Youth Edition has been made official, featuring the 6-inch 18:9 display and a downgraded camera setup. The device is now available in the Philippines in Black and Gold colours for PHP 13,990 (or approx Rs 17,835). Oppo F5 Youth edition should be seen as the affordable version of the popular F5 model.

As expected, the new phone doesn’t look too different from the Oppo F5 in terms of design and looks. However, it features bumped-down specifications from the original model. Under the hood it packs a MediaTek Helio P23 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. A microSD card slot is given to expand the internal storage. In comparison, Oppo F5 comes with two options – 4GB RAM and 32GB storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage. The latter option will go on sale in India in December for Rs 24,990. The regular option with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, is now available for Rs 19,990.

The Oppo F5 Youth retains the F5’s 6-inch full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution. Running ColorOS 3.2-based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

On the camera front, the handset has a 13MP sensor at the back with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. You get a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Battery also stays the same at 3200mAh.

Compare it with Oppo F5

For reference, Oppo F5 comes with 4GB RAM and 20MP front facing shooter. Rest stays the same. The smartphone also comes with O-share file sharing technology which claims to make the Bluetooth file transfer 100 times faster.

Oppo had recently launched the 6GB RAM version of the F3 Plus smartphone in India. The particular variant will be available for purchase on Flipkart at Rs 22,990.

In terms of specs, the Oppo F3 Plus shares all its specs with the earlier launched variant in March at Rs 30,990, apart from the RAM.

The handset comes equipped with a 6-inch full HD display Full-HD IPS LCD display and is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor. The processor is clubbed with 64GB inbuilt storage. There is a 16MP regular module and an 8MP wide-angle module front facing cameras and is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
